His propensity for the mix was forged in the drum and bass ridden streets of south Manchester, so he sought to play a different sound; a sound that might (potentially) have been described as ‘eclectic’, ‘juicy’ and ‘funkadelic to the point of ridiculousness’. He has stated his sole aim is to bring a selection of beats that leave craters on dance floors, and sweaty pools on the ceiling. A veteran of Indigo, Shoreditch BOXPARK (the upstairs zone) and his friend Steve’s basement, Kit is not one to miss.

Tone Central is an artist-producer, DJ, and A&R exploring the sounds of Hip Hop, R&B, Amapiano and Edits through meaningful collaborations and digital crate digging. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Joe Kay and Mura Masa, Tone is experienced in forming creative partnerships.

At We Out Here Festival 2023, Tone DJ'd to VIPs, like UK rapper Knucks, and was praised on Wordplay Magazine's socials for his mixing. His fusion of Kaytranada-style dance tracks with alt-rap stood out.

A multidisciplinary creative, Tone has photographed artists like Wesley Joseph and Children of Zeus, directed a documentary featuring Rap Game winner Graft, and hosted sold-out events at historic venues.

His debut studio album, a collaborative effort with emerging UK talents, is set for release in October 2024.
