At Farrago, we’re a group of friends passionate about championing London’s best emerging musicians. The grassroots scene is bursting with incredible artists just waiting for their moment, and we’re here to give them that spotlight. We’ve built a vibrant events business and live music agency from the ground up, but we’re just getting started…

Did you know that out of the 366 small music venues where Ed Sheeran built his career, over 150 have closed down? These spaces are vital, not just for artists but for live music fans to connect. Since launching in early 2024, our agency has been transforming the grassroots live music scene by supporting venues and connecting emerging artists with performance opportunities at venues ranging from iconic pubs to exclusive member’s clubs. Our mission is to give up-and-coming, talent artists more chances to perform, grow, earn, and thrive.

We’re looking for a driven and dynamic Agency Coordinator to join us. If live music, events, and making a real impact in the industry make your heart beat faster, then we want to hear from you!

About Us

We are a group of passionate friends who have built a thriving events business from the ground up. This summer, we have a lineup of exciting projects internally, including a podcast, a music conference, and two festivals, and externally, notably the launch of our agency. We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community and creating impactful opportunities for our artists.

Responsibilities

Agency Responsibilities:

  • Manage and book artists for live performance slots as part of our expanding roster.
  • Act as the primary liaison between artists and venues/clients, ensuring all performance requirements and commitments are met.
  • Identify and secure new performance opportunities at venues, corporate events, and with other potential clients through proactive outreach and networking. This includes strategies such as cold calling and in-person visits to build relationships and generate new business.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to refine and drive the growth strategy for our live music agency.

Event Responsibilities (ad hoc):

  • Collect and organise all necessary artist details for events.
  • Assist the CEO with various event logistics, including venue coordination, contractor bookings, and contract management.
  • Attend events and assist in venue preparation, including artist sound checks, content creation, and front-of-house tasks.

Background
  • A good understanding and passion for the grassroots live music scene.
  • Tenacious, hard-working, and excited to support up-and-coming artists.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise, and take initiative—especially when seeking new performance opportunities.
  • Flexible and attentive to the needs of artists, venues, and a small but growing startup.
  • Creative thinker who can strategise and help grow the agency.
  • Comfortable stepping outside your comfort zone to connect with prospective clients and partners.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.

Benefits of working at Farrago
  • The position offers a monthly salary of £800
  • Get hands-on experience in the heart of London’s live music and events industry, with opportunities to grow and develop your skills.
  • Start with a 3-month part-time position, with the opportunity for a longer-term contract or full-time role.
  • Benefit from a flexible work schedule of 16 hours per week (2-3 days).
  • Work from our creative hub in Camden, with the chance to travel around London as you connect with new venues and clients.

Look, if you’re ready to make a real difference in London’s grassroots music community and want to be part of a close-knit team that’s passionate about events and emerging talent, we’d love to hear from you. Join us at Farrago and help shape the future of live music!
