Visual Artist
EJ Negre, born in Lapu-Lapu, Philippines, discovered his passion for drawing at an early age. He honed his craft across Canada, Philippines and London, combining formal training at Vancouver Film School and Alberta College of Art with self-taught exploration. As a freelance illustrator, animator, and photographer, EJ has traveled the world to learn from masters of the craft.
In London, he has been an active figure in the drawing scene, contributing illustrations to the award-winning British fashion film SATURNALIA, sketching at London Fashion Week, and fostering artistic communities through his group, Let’s Draw Now. Balancing commissions in illustration, photography, and animation, EJ collaborates with directors and creatives across industries.
His work has been featured in Zee Lifestyle Magazine, Redbull Canada, Facebook London, Need for Speed: Unbound, King's Cross Library, Smile Inflight Magazine, University of the Philippines Cebu, Calgary Herald, CBC News, and Mabuhay Calgary. Although Nicky had previously been active on the music scene, it was 2021 that pulled her back with her first ever release and self-titled debut EP with sold out shows in both Cheshire and London. The EP saw success in ‘Home’, which was a semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Competition and was featured on Indie Folk Central’s first ‘Women of Indie Folk’ compilation. Another song from the EP, ‘The Dark’, was featured on BBC Music Introducing. Nicky has just finished her first tour in May 2024, including London, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Manchester.

A veteran of Indigo, Shoreditch BOXPARK (the upstairs zone) and his friend Steve’s basement, Kit is not one to miss.

Kit likes music. His propensity for the mix was forged in the drum and bass ridden streets of south Manchester, so he sought to play a different sound; a sound that might (potentially) have been described as ‘eclectic’, ‘juicy’ and ‘funkadelic to the point of ridiculousness’. He has stated his sole aim is to bring a selection of beats that leave craters on dance floors, and sweaty pools on the ceiling.
