Mahima toes the line between illustrative realism and abstract surrealism so that the viewer is able to relate to her art literally and metaphorically. Her art embodies euphoric surrealism and through the use of perspective, she forms a relationship between her environments and dream-like concepts. Mahima’s inspirations derive from her perception of people, abstract forms of communication and her identity diaspora; she takes from her experiences and reinvents them into a more beautiful version of their realities.
